About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PreK Teacher to join our team at The Red Barn Child Care Center & Preschool in Clarksville, TN. As a PreK Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children, helping them develop essential skills for their future.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans
- Responsive caregiving and supervision in a group setting of 4-5 year old children
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Assess and monitor children's progress and communicate with parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and administration to create a cohesive curriculum
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime and outdoor activities
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A background clearance, physical, drug screening, and 3 professional references
- CPR/First aid certification or willingness to obtain in first 90 days
- Patient, nurturing, and passionate about early childhood development
